Tavolina vs TicketSpice, for seated events
TicketSpice's 99¢ flat fee is honest — a penny under ours. The differences are who holds the processing relationship, and whether your buyers can pick a table.
TicketSpice charges 99¢ per ticket with mandatory in-house card processing (Webconnex, ~2.9% + 30¢); Tavolina charges $1.00 per ticket with processing on the organizer's own Stripe account, and adds table-based selling — floor plans, whole-table sales, sponsor tables — which TicketSpice does not offer.

TicketSpice is one cent cheaper per ticket at standard rates. We say so. It also has no table-based selling, which is the reason gala organizers come to us.
Where TicketSpice wins
- Price, by a penny: 99¢ beats $1.00. If your event is general admission and a cent per ticket matters, TicketSpice's number is real and clearly disclosed.
- Attractions and timed-entry events — that is the shape of their product.
Where Tavolina wins
- Tables: buyers pick their table on the real floor plan; whole-table minimums; sponsor tables with logos; guest boards. None of that exists on TicketSpice.
- Your own processor: card processing runs on your Stripe account. With TicketSpice, processing is mandatory through their in-house processor.
- Founding organizers pay 69¢ per ticket, locked — under every flat-fee competitor.
Questions, answered
- Isn't TicketSpice cheaper than Tavolina?
- By one cent per ticket at standard rates, yes — 99¢ versus $1.00, with similar processing rates. We show that cell losing in our calculator. The difference gala organizers pay us for is table-based selling and processing on their own Stripe account.
- Can my buyers pick their table on TicketSpice?
- TicketSpice has no banquet-style table flow (verified 2026-07-15). On Tavolina, picking a table on the real floor plan is the checkout.
- Who holds my ticket money?
- On Tavolina, nobody but you: sales settle into your own Stripe account on Stripe's normal payout schedule. TicketSpice processes through Webconnex, so the processing relationship lives with them.
