group chat: “wait, who is at table 9?”

After

One link. Guests see your real room and pick their own table, so the “who am I sitting with” calls stop. The seating chart fills itself, and on event night you know exactly who sits where.

  • Sell whole tables in one checkout. Set a minimum, like eight seats, and a family takes the table in one payment.
  • Mark VIP tables. Give sponsor tables their own name and logo on the plan.
  • The guest board tracks every seat by name. The room filled itself, and you can still move anyone, any time.
  • Check-in knows the table. The door scanner tells your staff where each guest sits.

Fundraisers

Built for nights that raise money

Donations in checkout

A guest who can’t attend can still give.

We take nothing from donations

Not a dollar, not a cent.

Sponsor tables

The sponsor’s name sits on the public floor plan.

Your event page, in their language

Every guest can read your event in their own language with one tap — Albanian, Spanish, Greek, and more. Your grandmother reads the invitation without help.

Event night

The door, handled

  • Every ticket has a QR code. Scan it with any phone. No hardware to rent.
  • A guest with a dead phone gets found by name in two taps.
  • Live counts show who’s in the room while the night runs.
  • Scanned twice? The second scan gets caught on the spot.

Also included

The fair question

Why trust a new platform?

  1. We run our own events on Tavolina

The gala linked above is ours. If checkout breaks, our night breaks first.

  2. Your money never touches us

Cards are processed by Stripe on their hosted checkout, and ticket revenue settles in your Stripe account, not ours. If Tavolina disappeared tomorrow, your money would already be with you.

  3. Everything exports

Guests, orders, customers, all CSV. Your data leaves with you any time you want.

Founding organizers

69¢ a ticket, locked.

Founding organizations keep that rate. You also get a direct line to the people who built this, and a real say in what we build next. The rate locks before public launch, then it’s gone.

Questions, answered

What’s the catch on fees?
There isn’t one. $1 per paid ticket, plus Stripe’s card rate which they bill you directly. The pricing page has a calculator that shows every cent, including where a competitor beats us.
When do I get my money?
As tickets sell, into your own Stripe account. Stripe pays out on its standard schedule, typically about two business days in the US.
What if I cancel my event?
Refund your buyers from the dashboard, full or partial. We give our fee back on refunded tickets. Stripe keeps its processing fee; that’s their policy.
Will my guests trust the checkout?
The price on the event page is the price at checkout, to the cent. Payment happens on Stripe’s own hosted page. Try the live event above and see.
How long does setup take?
Your first event fits in an afternoon: create the org, lay out tables, connect Stripe, publish.
